Anti-Human and Sex Trafficking Compliance Policy 
For E-Commerce Operations

1. Purpose  
This policy outlines the framework by which Luscio (luscio.jp) ensures compliance with national and international laws prohibiting human trafficking and sexual exploitation. It includes protocols for prevention, detection, response, and engagement with third-party content providers on our e-commerce platform.    

2. Programme of Operations  
2.1 Commitment Statement  
Luscio (luscio.jp) upholds ethical business practices and strictly prohibits any form of human or sex trafficking on its platform. All content and partnerships are screened for compliance with anti-trafficking regulations.   
2.2 Risk Prevention and Control Measures  
Employee Training: Mandatory training modules are provided to all staff annually, focusing on identifying and reporting trafficking indicators.  
Supplier and Partner Screening: Comprehensive due diligence is performed before onboarding vendors, including reviews of criminal history, business reputation, and ownership records.  
Access Control: Only authorized users with verified credentials can upload or publish content.  
Escalation Protocol: Any suspicious content or behavior is escalated to our Compliance Team for investigation.  
2.3 Protocol for Law Enforcement Engagement  
Upon detection or suspicion of human or sex trafficking:  
The Compliance Officer will be notified immediately.  
A preliminary investigation will be conducted internally.  
If suspicion is credible, law enforcement agencies in the relevant jurisdiction will be notified within 24 hours.  
The Company will preserve all related data and fully cooperate with authorities.  
2.4 Recordkeeping  
All logs of suspicious activity, content removal, internal investigations, and law enforcement communications are securely stored for a minimum of 5 years.    

3. Age and Identity Verification Process (Japan-Specific)  
To ensure compliance with Japanese law (including the Act on Regulation and Punishment of Acts Relating to Child Prostitution and Child Pornography), Luscio (luscio.jp)enforces strict verification procedures for content providers in Japan:   
Identity Verification: All content providers must submit government-issued photo identification (e.g., Japanese My Number Card or Passport).  
Age Verification: Providers must be 18 years or older. Age is confirmed via date of birth on ID, supplemented by facial recognition if necessary.  
Verification Partner: Identity data is validated through a certified third-party service provider compliant with Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI).  
Re-verification: Annual re-verification is mandatory for continued content hosting privileges.  


4. Internal Content Monitoring Policy  
Luscio (luscio.jp) employs a layered content monitoring approach to proactively detect and remove illegal or exploitative material:  
4.1 Automated Detection Systems  
AI-powered tools scan all uploaded content for known trafficking-related indicators, including certain visual patterns, keywords, and metadata anomalies.  
Hash-matching tools are used to compare content against databases of illegal material (e.g., NCMEC, Internet Watch Foundation).  
4.2 Manual Review  
A dedicated Trust & Safety Team conducts regular manual audits of high-risk content categories and user reports.  
Reviews are prioritized based on algorithmic risk scores and user complaint frequency.  
4.3 Reporting and Response Protocol  
Users can flag content using an embedded “Report Abuse” tool.  
Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours.  
Content found in violation is removed immediately, and the account may be suspended or banned.  
4.4 Data Retention  
Logs of all flagged, reviewed, and removed content are stored with timestamp and reviewer ID for audit purposes.    

   Effective Upon Acceptance of Luscio Terms and Conditions  
Applies to All Registered Sellers and Content Uploaders on luscio.jp  
By registering as a user and agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of use on Luscio (luscio.jp), the user (“Content Provider”) hereby acknowledges and agrees to the following Content Provider Agreement, which is enforceable as a binding supplement to the Luscio Terms of Use.    

1. Scope of Engagement  
The Content Provider is authorized to list, distribute, and sell digital and/or physical products through Luscio, provided that such activity complies with all laws, platform policies, and the terms of this agreement.    

2. Legal Compliance & Ethical Obligations  
The Content Provider shall:  
Not upload, list, or distribute content that facilitates, depicts, or supports human trafficking, sex trafficking, child exploitation, or other illegal activity.  
Comply fully with Japanese law and applicable international regulations regarding online content, privacy, data protection, pornography, and child protection.  
Adhere to Article 5 (Prohibitions) and Article 15 (Prohibitions regarding listing and sale) of the Luscio Terms and Conditions, including restrictions on uncensored content, underage content, and false identity documentation.    

3. Age and Identity Verification (For Japanese Providers)  
For compliance with Japanese law, all content providers operating from Japan must:  
Submit government-issued identification (e.g., My Number Card or Passport) showing the provider is at least 18 years old (20 for general membership under Luscio’s Article 2).  
Consent to verification by a licensed third-party service, in accordance with APPI (Japan’s privacy law).  
Undergo annual re-verification of age and identity to retain seller privileges.  

  4. Content Monitoring and Platform Enforcement  
All uploaded content is subject to automated monitoring and manual review in accordance with Luscio’s Internal Content Monitoring Policy.  

  Violations may result in immediate content removal, account suspension, or law enforcement referral, in line with Article 8 of the Terms and Conditions.  

  Chat content between users and providers may also be reviewed per Luscio's Article 16 (Use of Chat) and must not contain solicitation, illegal media, or personal contact information.  

  Complaint Handling Process:  
- Users and third parties may report content they believe to be illegal or in violation of Luscio’s standards using the “Report Abuse” function.  
- Complaints will be reviewed and resolved within seven (7) business days of receipt by the Trust & Safety Team.  
- If the content is confirmed to be in violation, it will be removed and the associated account may be subject to disciplinary action.  
- Any individual depicted in a video or other content has the right to appeal or request removal of such content, regardless of who uploaded it.  
- Appeals can be submitted via [insert email/contact form], and will be addressed within the standard 7-business-day review period.
